Dear World War II veterans, dear compatriots!

Congratulations on your national holiday - the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Kyiv from Nazi invaders!

On this day we commemorate the heroic deeds and sacrifice of Ukrainian people in the Great Patriotic War. Incredibly difficult was the way to peaceful days by the time, until became silent the last shots of the war in our country. Years pass, generations change, but the memory of those turbulent years when shuddered our native land, when was killed thousands of civilians, will stay forever in our hearts.

First of all this is a holiday for veterans, who suffered from war. Our memories, our hearts, thoughts about those years keep deep filial gratitude to soldiers and warriors - liberators.

Respect and deep bow to you, dear veterans, for the most precious thing that we have as a legacy - sky and peaceful work in the holy mother land. You won and now we are building our own state for the joy of you, our children and grandchildren. Your courage and bravery, heroism and strong spirit is an example for future generations. Let me wish You good health, long life, love and attention to relatives.
