On 4thNovember, 2013 Grygorii Kaletnik held a meeting with a highly respected guest, rector of the Slovak Agricultural University (Nitra, Slovakia), President of VF Peter Belik.
Peter Belik said that the main priority of the SUA is the development of international cooperation and integration of the university to recognized international associations.
He noted that the association that was created on 1 November, 2011 - Visegrad University Association, brings together 40 universities from 19 countries. The role of the Association is to create an enabling environment for studying and research, close cooperation of Central and Western Europe.
Rector of SUA noted that the university collaborates on various training programs such as: Tempus ( hereinafter - Tempus) , the main purpose of which is to promote the modernization of higher education in partner countries through increasing cooperation between higher education institutions of the Member States and partner countries. Tempus provides funding to encourage interaction and balanced cooperation between higher education establishments in partner countries and Member States of the European Union.
In frames of the discussion Peter Belik proposed Grygorii Kaletnik to sign Memorandum on friendship and cooperation and between the SUA and Vinnytsia National Agrarian University (hereinafter VNAU) on participation in European programs on cooperation between the higher educational establishments.
Grygorii Kaletnik believes that such cooperation is necessary for the development of both scientific and educational programs. For applicants it is necessary to have access to the latest scientific advances and practical experience.
The parties agreed on the preparation for signing of the agreement on partnership and cooperation between SUA and VNAU for work in programs, which is aimed at the realization of common interests and possibilities for obtaining grants for the development of scientific investigations.
