On 4th November,2013 in his speech at the conciliatory council of leaders and heads of parliamentary factions of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the Chairman of the Committee on Agrarian Policy and Land Relations Grygoii Kaletnik raised the question concerning the necessity of inclusion in the agenda of the Law of Ukraine "On Amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine (concerning the fee for usage of land for agricultural purposes)", Reg. Number 2059a.
The bill aims to put 1% of the collection of normative monetary land valuation in the accounts of village councils.
Grygorii Kaletnik believes that people's deputies ofUkraine, who meet with the voters and see the real situation in rural areas, are well aware of the state of rural roads , schools and pre-schools , state hospitals and village health centers. Today, without the help of agricultural enterprises and farmers we can’t solve such problems.
Grygorii Kaletnik informed that at the Committee for more than six months was elaborated data for each area, which was received from all regional administrations. The results showed not a very good picture. Basically, the part of the population that lives in villages and has 200-500 hectares of land, count off on social infrastructure 100 UAH per hectare.
