This was my second meeting with the Minister, Professor, Doctor of Sciences Petro Ivanovych.

During the meeting discussed the issues of joint investment projects in fruit processing, genetic scientific investigations of  aboriginal  species of grapes, bioenergy development – that is creation of a laboratory on production of second-generation biofuels from algae.

It is advisable to note that The Minister supported the idea of creation of the laboratory on production of biofuels and noticed that this is a perspective direction of scientific research work, not only inMontenegro, but also in the EU countries, which sooner or later will start to use the bioenergy. He believes that scientists will jointly develop this area inMontenegrothrough the European funds, because for their country the priority is environmentally clean production.

SinceMontenegrohas positioned itself as a country of elite tourism, and so high quality of products is very important for them, they don’t want to lose the positive image. This is an urgent question forMontenegro, which imports practically all food and has no its own production.

Grygorii Kaletnik said: "I am convinced that scientists will find most of our universities are the ways of cooperation in technological development that will lead us to the promising technologies for biogas and environmental problems - it is a strategic perspective for Ukraine and Montenegro."
