From one side we should form the policy of the country connected with the development of big amount of production in  cattle breeding, thought from another side, we should understand that without milk production in farms , which  provide 75% of milk in the structure of general production, we will never achieve the planned results’ – noticed Grygorii Kaletnik during the International Conference on the issues of the quality and safety of food products, which was conducted in Kyiw on April 22, 2013.On the given conference were present  agricultural producers, representatives of professional associations, representatives of foreign governments, including the Minister of Agriculture of Czech Republic Petr Bendl.

Grygorii Kaletnik informed participants about the initiatives of the Committee, the current draft bills under consideration of the Committee, which are aimed at ensuring the quality and safety of dairy (milk) products. He outlined a range of tasks of the Committee and highlighted on stoppage of decline of livestock number.

"Now we are developing the draft bill concerning the priority right for producers of cattle breeding products on rent of land. In case of introducing of circulation of agricultural lands, the producers of live stock products will have a priority right for obtaining of plot of lands for property.”
